Explanation

This activity is used to define the operation that is planned to utilize the material.

Prerequisites

The work order operations must be defined prior to the registering of required material if the material should/must be connected to operations.

System Effects

The material line will be linked to a specific operation.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to connect to operation:

1. Select the Material tab and use the New function.
2. In the Part No field, use the List of Values to enter a part number.
3. In the Operation No field, use the List of Values to select an operation line number. Save the information.
