Create a Work Order on the Mobile Device
Explanation
This activity is used to create a work order or a structure of work orders on
your mobile device. Once the work order is created, you can choose to return it
to IFS/Work Order Management during synchronization or retain it on the mobile
device.
Work orders created on the mobile device will receive a work order number
with the prefix N, e.g., N1001010. This work order number will be used for the
lifetime of the work order on the mobile. When the work order is sent to
IFS/Work Order Management, the work order number will be changed automatically
to the regular number series. The Reference No field on the work order
will automatically display the work order number previously assigned on the
mobile device.
Prerequisites
- IFS Mobile Work Order should be installed on the mobile device.
- The site should be defined and the mobile user should have access to the
site.
- Equipment objects should be defined.

- Basic data for mobile synchronization should be defined.
- If the work order is to be returned to IFS/Work Order Management, the

System Effects
As a result of this activity, a separate work order is created and can be processed on
