Create Fault Report using the B2B Interface

Explanation

This activity is used to create a fault report using the Business-to-Business interface. A fault report is created if any additional issues are discovered when reporting work done on a work order.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the basic data for work order must be entered.

As a result of this activity, a fault report with a unique work order number is created.

Procedure

  1. Click on the Report In link on the Active Work Orders portlet. The Report In Work Order page is opened.
  2. Click Add Fault Report. The Fault Report Wizard is opened. The object ID is retrieved by default to the Fault Report Wizard from the work order.
  3. Enter information as necessary and create a fault report.

For route work orders, a fault report can be created through the Report in Route Work Order page and the object ID is retrieved by default to the Fault Report Wizard from the route action of the work order.
