Define Progress on Operation

Explanation

This activity is used to define the progress on a work order operation.

If a work progress template is connected to the work order, the operation will automatically receive the progress defined on the template for the corresponding operation status. When the status of the operation is changed, the progress will be updated based on the values in the template. If a template is not connected to the work order, the operation will receive the default progress value for the corresponding operation status. Default progress values are 0% for all operation statuses until Finished, 100% for the Finished status and 0% for the Cancelled status. Note that the default value for the Cancelled status cannot be changed to a different value.

It is possible to change the progress on an operation line to reflect the amount of work done. When changing the progress values, percentage values for the New, Released, Started, Work Done and Finished statuses must be in ascending order. For example, a progress template exists, with the following percentage values: 10% for Released, 20% for Started and 85% for Work Done. When changing the progress for Started, you will not be allowed to enter a value below 10% or above 85%.
