Enter Inventory Location

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the inventory location to where a serial object is to be moved from workshop or from facility. 

Prerequisites

Before the inventory location is entered, the following must have been completed:

• The location identity must have been entered in IFS/Inventory.
• If the serial object is to be moved from workshop to inventory, the current repair work order must have been retrieved in Report In Work Order.
• If the serial object is to be moved from facility to inventory, the work order must have been retrieved in Report In Work Order.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the inventory location:

1. In Report In Work Order, select the Move Serial to Inventory operation.
2. In Move Serial to Inventory, use List of Values to select a value in the Location field.
