Enter Inventory Value

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the inventory value of the serial object that is to be moved from workshop to inventory, or from facility to inventory.

Prerequisites

Before the inventory value is entered, the following must have been completed:

• The inventory location must have been entered in Move Serial to Inventory. 

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a serial object is moved from workshop to inventory, or from facility to inventory. This creates a new entry in the inventory with the part number and serial number in the serial register. The inventory value is affected. The quantity on hand increases by one. The budget costs are affected in the system.

Procedure
