Move Non-Serial Part to Inventory

Explanation

Use this activity to move the non-serial part from a workshop to inventory. The purpose with moving a non-serial part to inventory is to replace non-serial with another, e.g., when broken.

In the Aviation industry, it is a requirement that all components and assemblies that are not installed in a structure are accompanied with a tag that can be used to clearly identify the component or assembly and its current status. This tag, referred to as a serviceability tag, provides detailed information on the status of the component such as serviceability and its origins. Through this activity, you can choose to print the tag report when moving the non-serial object to inventory.

Prerequisites
