Release Operation

Explanation

This activity is used to manually release an operation line on a work order, provided that the work order is already released. When a work order is set to the Released status all connected operations will be set automatically to the Released status regardless of whether the Operations follow Work Order Status check box is selected or not. However, if you add a new operation to a work order that is already released and for which the Operations follow Work Order Status check box is not selected, you will need to manually release the operation line once the preparation of the operation or subtask (from IFS/Vehicle Information Management) is completed.
