Report In Actions
Explanation
This activity is used to report in actions that have been performed on the
mobile work order. There are several terms for classifying the fault and
following up work, including class, Item class, Fault type, performed action, cause, description
of the work, start and finish dates, etc.
Prerequisites
- The work order should exist on the mobile device running IFS Mobile Work
Order.
- The work order should be started.
- The class, fault type, fault cause and performed actions should be
defined in basic data and synchronized with the mobile device.
- Optionally, item classes can be used to categorize faults based on
failing component if defined as basic data and synchronized with the mobile
device.
- If surveys are to be used in the work order flow, the work order
integration should be defined for the survey in IFS Human Resources.

As a result of this activity, the actions on a work order are reported in.
Window
The mobile device on which IFS Mobile Work Order is installed.

Procedure
- On the Home Screen, tap Work Orders.
- Tap on the the work order you wish to report in.
- Tap Next until the Report In screen appears.
- If you have set up a work order survey to
appear at this stage of the work flow, the survey will be opened. Respond to the
survey and click Confirm.
- For separate work orders, enter the class of work, type of fault, cause of the fault and the
performed action by selecting the valid value from the relevant spin lists.
If Item class is selected, then faults and causes that can be used to report
will be restricted to the ones defined against the selected item class.
- Optionally, for separate work orders enter (or update) a brief and/or more detailed description
of the work done and the cause for generating the work order.
- Optionally, enter or update the actual start and finish dates.
- Optionally, report in time. To do this long-press the screen and tap
Time.
- Tap Save.
