Procedure
To reschedule an operation:

- Define predecessor relationships among the
operation lines if required. Also make sure that the relevant operation

then click
Reschedule Operations. The Reschedule
Work Order Operations dialog
box opens.
- To reschedule start and end times on the operations, select the Operation check box.
- If the operation line is connected to one or more
tool-and-facility lines and they should be rescheduled, select the Tools and Facilities check box so
that the dates of the tool and facility line will be changed accordingly.
- If you need to optimize the duration of the
operations, select the Compress Durations check box so that the duration
of the operation is reduced to the minimum possible.
- If employees have been allocated to
operations and available time slots can be found,
select the Employee
Allocations check box.
- If the employee schedules should be considered so
that only the scheduled time should be used, select the Include Schedule
check box. Next, verify that the requested start date
and earliest end date is correct or modify it as required. Note:
These dates are used
to retrieve the employee schedule from IFS Human Resources, if installed. If
not the schedule of the maintenance organization to which the employee
belongs is retrieved.
