View Critical Path

Explanation

This activity is used to view the critical path for work orders in the Execution Logic Structure (ELS).

Prerequisites

Work order dependencies with dependency type Finish to Start must be defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the critical path for each work order in the ELS will be displayed in the Gantt chart.

Procedure

To calculate the critical path:

1. Open the Work Order Execution Logic window and query (F3) for the desired work order.
2. Click the Gantt tab.
3. Right-click on the graph, and then click Plan/Calculate Critical Path.

To view the critical path:

1. Right-click on the graph, and then click Show Critical Work Orders.
2. The critical path will be shown in Red.
