Work Order Availability

Explanation

This activity is used to view and define the availability of a work order. The availability for a work order can be inherited from the equipment object on the the work order. If no availability has been defined for the equipment object then the availability defined on the location which is connected to the work order address will decide when the work can be scheduled. Location availabilities will however never be visible on the work order itself.  A work order availability can be set manually according the requirement and will override both the availability defined on the location and on the equipment object.

Once a work order is created for an equipment object, the availability of the object will be fetched to the work order, based on the work type and the priority defined on the work order. If the availability for the work order is not defined or not inherited from the connected object, then the availability of the location connected with the work order address will be used for the work order availability when scheduling the work order.

Note: For Route Work Orders the work type and priority are considered when retrieving the availability record from equipment object and the object id considered should be the first object in the list of Route Actions.
