Enter Object (WO Quotation)

Explanation

Use this activity to link an equipment object to the work order quotation. A main object is linked and also subordinate object/objects, if appropriate.

Prerequisites

Before the object is linked to the work order quotation, the following must have been completed:

• The equipment object must exist in IFS/Equipment.
• The current work order quotation must be retrieved in the window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the equipment object is linked to the quotation.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to link an equipment object to a work order quotation:

1. Select the Prepare tab in Prepare Work Order Quotation.
2. Use the New function in the Prepare tab.
3. In the Object ID field, use the List of Values to select the equipment object. The description of the equipment object is displayed in the Description field. 
4. In the Maint. Org. field, use List of Values to enter a maintenance organization.
5. In the Work Type field, use List of Values to enter a work type.
6. Save the information.
