Enter Service Contract

Explanation

Use this activity to directly link a service contract to a service request.

Prerequisites

A service contract should be defined in IFS/Service Contract. The service contract should contain a service line connected to the equipment object (or VIM Top Serial Part) that is included in the service request.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a service contract (and service line) is connected to the service request.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Request window and query for a record (F5).
2. Enter the service contract identity and the related service line number in the Contract ID and Line No fields.
3. Save the information (F12).
