Use this page and its tabs to enter and maintain
document data. The Document
Revision page is the main page in IFS/Document Management. This page can also be opened in overview mode.
To open the Overview
page, search for and retrieve documents on the Document Revision page,
and then click Overview. Under Development,
view and maintain information related to the development of a new document
revision. Under Sheets/Descriptions, revise information about the
sheets in the document title, and change the order of the sheets. Each sheet can
have multiple document revisions.
Under Correspondence and Archive Information, enter
the information related to sending and receiving correspondence about the
document and the archive number of the document. Using the
Quick View functionality, it is possible to directly see the document content,
regardless of the format of the document file. The exact file formats supported
depends on the AutoVue license installed. In the overview mode, you can select
multiple documents and connect those documents to a new document transmittal. If necessary, you can
configure the REDIRECT_WEB_LINKS_TO_EE document default value so that the
Enterprise Explorer client will be opened when viewing, checking in and editing
documents through this page.
